Lingoda is an online German school where you can receive online German language education. The price of group classes starts from 6 euros.
Babbel is another notable source for learning German online. Prices start at 6.99 euros. Babbel offers courses in generally 13 languages. You can buy all of the language courses for 299.99 euros.
Busuu is another platform for language education. You can start learning the language here for free. However, with premium service, you will be able to learn quickly. At Busuu, you will get a personalized study plan that will ease your language learning. Moreover, you will be able to practice with native speakers.
On italki, you will be able to learn the German language effectively from native Germans. The price of group classes starts at around $10-$15.
Preply is such a platform where the world’s different German tutors are joined. Here, you will have the opportunity to take interactive classes. The per-hour price is approximately $5.
Mondly is another important platform for learning the language. Engaging classes for learners are here, starting from beginners to advanced levels. Mondly is currently offering language education in 41 different languages, and here there is a lifetime deal in which the price is 89.99 euros.
On Sprachcoach, you will be able to take courses of A2, B1, and B2 German language levels. There is an interactive class for three months, priced from 196 euros to 298 euros.
Deutsche Welle is a popular news website. But Deutsche Welle offers free German language education, where you will be able to get German language expertise up to level C1.
FluentU is another platform from where you can learn German. You can start for free here, but after a few levels, you must go to the paid version.
Goethe Institut is the most popular institution for learning the German language. They have both offline and online courses. However, Goethe Institut courses are very expensive. However, they are worth it.
With these resources, you will be able to learn the German language easily. However, you must spend time yourself, practicing 3-4 hours a day after classes, then you can hope to learn the German language to a level after 6-7 months.
How Many Days Does It Take to Learn German?
In the German language, there are several levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. The time it takes to learn German depends on the level you aim to achieve. Typically, it takes about 6 months to learn from A1 to B1. If you want to learn up to B2 level, it may take another 6 months. If you aim to learn up to C1 level, it could take an additional 6 months to 1 year. Therefore, if you want to learn German up to an advanced level starting from scratch, it may take a minimum of 2 years. However, this varies significantly from person to person; some may take longer, while others may take less time.
Tips for Learning German Language Quickly and Effectively
Now I will share from my experience how you can learn German quickly and effectively.
My first tip is to start by learning essential German vocabulary. Write down these words on paper and stick them around the items they represent. For example, write “Tisch” on a paper and stick it on a table, or write “Flasche” and stick it on a bottle. By seeing these words repeatedly, you will easily remember them.
My second tip is to learn German language related to all kinds of questions and answers when you go to do any work. Then you will do the work yourself. Then you will easily learn German language related to the work.
